Karen, do you think its because we talk too much???? Actually, I really appreciate the answers on the pink nose situation. Both of my girls have such lovely black noses and I have never seen them turn pink before..they are just a little pink and definitely not irritated. My yellow lab, Chuck, that we had in my married life always got a pink nose in wintertime now that I think about it. I haven't told any Chuck stories....see I could start a whole new topic. When my ex and I divorced about 8 years ago, Chuck stayed with him and Mimi came with me. Chuck lived to be 15 and had to be put to sleep last year due to severe arthritis and cancer. What a dog he was!
