Bassett is still doing really wellHer scabs are starting to dry out and fall off nicely.. they are healing up. She licks the "new" one sometimes but I think she's just itchy.
Her appointment for her "check up" is on July 30th. At that time, she will also be getting her annual vaccinations and her 3yr rabies, so it's nice that it will all be in one day rather than having to go back a couple times.
Since the surgery I have given her NO rutin, and she is doing very well. Her breathing is better than I've seen it in years. She also is almost totally back to normal. Her attitude certainly is back!!!![]()

In my heart, I knew I had to do this surgery and I knew that she would pull through. I just had a "feeling" that it was the RIGHT thing to do. However, I didn't have any feeling about what the outcome would be like. But after watching her pull through this, I couldn't be more pleasedThank you all SO MUCH for keeping on your prayers for her. They are working, God hears them and so do Bassett's angels and they are working their butts off to keep her well
Thanks you guys - you are the best!
