I am distraught.. I just called my next door neighbour to see how the kitties were doing and she said they were gone! The last time we saw them was at 9 pm last night, then when she checked this morning at 10am, the dog house was empty. The kitties were way too small to wander off, so I am guessing that the mother moved them somewhere else. Do you think she moved them far? I feel so frustrated because I'm at work and I can't even look for them. My husband said he will help my neighbour look around when he gets home from work..
The mother will move the cats if she knows they have been discovered. If you're feeding her & kittens, she probably didn't go far.
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers
