Remember what I said about Leather's leg before? Well, she has a compulsive chewing disorder, see...So she was eating away at her leg....we got medication for it before, and she stopped.
Well, she went to the beach last week, and since she swam in the lake, she has been chewing at it again.
And it was sooo close to being healed, and now it's terrible again!!
My stepmom doesn't get paid for another week, so we have to wait that long to take her to the vet
There is polysporin, a gauze, and tenz (sp?) bandages on her leg right now, and they are helping alot.
The attached pic kinda shows her wound before this happened...It was alot more swollen then it looks though...See how it was almost healed? Now it's a huge gash again, and it is weeping clear fluid...
What is the clear fluid? Any ideas on how to help it?
