Haven taken the GRE and the GMAT, I can understand exactly what you went through. The most important thing to remember is that most graduate schools do not only take into account the absolute score, but rather the relative score is more important. So if everyone else didn't do so well you will be considered a good candidate.

Having spent plenty of time in grad school (still there), some schools are no longer placing much weight on the GRE scores. So in the mean time enjoy the duckie and the catnip
