but, it's really not a dog I would recommend to most people, especially first time dog owners.
I know what you mean. My friend has only owned one dog, and she wants a sibe when she's older. I tried to turn her attention towards other breeds, but she won't have it. Wants one "just like Nakita." I feel bad for that poor dog. She doesn't know anything abou training dogs, much less the more independant breeds or stubborn breeds.
