Sorry if i was wrong, but 4 1/2 years ago my old boss (a vet) , 3 other vets, mayself & a couple other vet techs did a lot of research into it & found Baking chocolate is deadly, but the other chocolates were not "deadly" but if aten in very large quantities or just depending on the individual dogs system they could pose a threat to the dogs life but no more than eating the same amount of other people foods. You see for ex. a chi eats a bag of hershey kisses it would probably become ill but if it also ate a bag of doritios it would still get ill, a chi's stomach can't even hold that much food & it is not the proper food for a dog so of course it will become sick. Again I am sorry if I was wrong as they discover new things everyday & the last time I studied it was almost 5 years ago. I am going to check out some more new info on it. I will try to get a hold of my old boss to see if we can find that info we found before on it. Thanks guys!
