Those birds cost $3000 here and their average lifespan is 70 years plus! Very often, these birds outlive their owners, so if you want a pet for life, a pet that you may not have to see pass on in your lifetime, get a cockatoo or big parrot. They live as long as us! (Some even longer) Oh how I want a cockatoo.
