I worried a lot when I decided to adopt Milly. She was an orphan......her human ended up in a nursing home and she hadn't had any attention in a long time. My worries were unfounded. She and Roger did beautifully together (too beautifully a couple of times ) and they still do love each other a lot. They do not share a cage, most of the time, by their choice. But sometimes, they choose to end up in the same cage at bedtime and we let them stay together. But most nights, when I go in to put them up, they are separate, but their cages are side by side. I think it is sweet how each one sleeps as close to the side of the cage as possible so they can be near each other.
