Well we have MORE babies lol! Thank goodness because my waiting list is VERY full and I was afraid I wasn't going to have enough rats to go around, lol. Last night Sunny gave birth to five big kittens. Because she only had five they are very healthy little buggers. And all dumbos again! Whoo hoo!

Cocoas babies are getting so much darker and it looks like we may have a few berkshires in the litter!

You wouldn't believe what happened yesterday before the Valentines party! These people who live behind us have a dog, and she is VERY pretty! Well it gets very cold here at night, around 25 degress F and rains etc. All they have for her is a little dog house with hay in it! She has no way to keep herself warm and they NEVER let her in the house. She wimpers and cries all night.

So anyway, yesterday I was doing my laundry and I went outside and noticed that the dog had dug under her fence and had her lead attacked to her. She was so starving for attention I went over to say hello. She was so happy and ecstatic and her tail was wagging everywhere lol. I was scared for her because she was right next to the creek, which has wire around this one section where she was standing and I thought she might get tangled. But I couldn' do anything about it besides keep my eye on her. So when I went to put my clothes in the dryer she was LOOSE! She pulled out her lead/run tiedown out of the ground and ran right over to me and almost got hit!

The people were not home so I had no choice but to bring her into my apartment. I was not about to let her roam the streets. ANd I couldn't take her back to her house because I had my son here and could not carry a baby and walk this dog at the same time. She was very strong and likes to pull, so I could tell she had not be given a walk in a long time.

So this whole time I am getting ready for the Valentines party and could not take a shower or anything because Ihad to watch this dog. She is SO sweet and LOVES Dylan and didn't even bother the cats, although they didn't take to the dog lol. She knows how to sit, and shake so whoever had her before these lame dorks did taught her well. Although she does need to learn to heel.

So I called the Humane Society and told them that the dog has no tags, is not licensed and was roaming the street and that the people never let the dog inside, even when it is raining and there is frost on the ground. They told me to call the pound. I was very torn because I don't want her to be put down and I didn't really want her to go back to these people either. Their yard isn't even fenced so if she gets loose she can run whereever she wants.
