Dearest Baby Bird, you are adorable! What a beautiful Cockatiel you are, so pretty with those colorful feathers and that sweet face as a grown-up Baby Bird, and absolutely precious as a tiny hatchling Baby Bird in your dear person's hand, not much bigger than that egg! You were pulled for hand-feeding and became socialized, soon expertly begging for your formula and then making sweet chirping noises and flapping your wings as you fed.
You are full of energy and make your dear people smile with your antics. You don't seem to know you're a bird, and you prefer your human family's company. You are very smart and can say "Baby Bird," "Bad Baby Bird," and "Clarisse." You also do wolf-whistles and imitate the microwave beep. You enjoy your supervised out-time from your cage. You love sitting on Mom's shoulder while she does housework! You and your dear people all love each other very much, don't you. What a delightful love-filled home you share!
Congratulations, darling Baby Bird, on being chosen today's Pet of the Day! We hope you and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats.

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
