Well, some good news and some bad news. The good news is, the ultrasound shows that Bassett doesn't appear to have any heart problems and has no tumours. It also wasn't as costly as I had thought, so that was a nice suprise. However, the vet may need to do more tests now. This is the bad news part - they don't know why Bassett has a leaky thoracic duct! I don't know if this means she will need exploratory surgery or what? I will have to make an appointment later this week, after the vet has looked over the results from the radiologist.
Anyway, it's comforting to know that Bassett has no heart trouble, and no tumours. But I still wish I knew what was wrong with her![]()
I got Slick's card - it was so sweet and I feel so blessed. All the money people have donated to Bassett's cause is a true blessing. If there is any money left over after the vet is done with Bassett, I will donate it to a shelter or a adoption program for orphaned kittens.
Well, I must go for now. I have a kitty to cuddleThank you all again - you are all amazing!
