I am so touched by your story. these beautiful creatures deserve the love that you are giving yours, forever. Unfortunately, as a Cat Rescue volunteer and also someone who knows many people who work at veterinarian clinics, cats are too often taken there to be killed because the boyfriend does not understand our bond between us and our furry friend. I have even seen men laugh when leaving the clinic after dumping their girlfriends cat, saying I did it, I am Not really allergic. I am NOT saying that loving people should not be considered important, I just wonder how the women feel after making this decision and then often the relationship does not even last. And what did he give up that he loved dearly? My cats are my family. I will not give them up for anyone under any circumstances.
