Someone told me about another community that had this funny thread: what would Lord of the Rings have been like if it were written by other authors. Some of the listed authors I don't know well enough to get the jokes, but I've convulsed myself over people's interpretation of Jane Austen or Dr. Seuss or Anne McCaffrey's... I think you'll enjoy it, too.
