Hi. Sorry its been a bit since I've gotten to the library. My sister took the kittens in for their wellness exam yesterday. I had to work so I couldn't go. Lily is healthy and has gained a pound. Pillsbury has a nasty yeast infection in the ear, starting a uri, and is underweight. She said the vet didn't mention anything about the thyroid but says she wouldn't believe the bloodwork papers he came with were his for some reason even though her notes were that he is a very unhealthy cat. My sister doesn't have $300 for bloodwork right now but I doubt the humane society vet mixed up his papers. They have his info typed on top of them from his trip to the vet. I think we need to look into my vet for their official vet because the bloodwork wouldn't be near as much. This one she went to was only because they honored the free wellness exam coupon she got from adopting them but as far as anything else the vet she went to yesterday was waaay expensive. They want 3 times as much for a rabies shots, distemper, and fecal exam as my vet. We'll definately be calling my vet to see about bloodwork in the future if he's still a sickly kitty.
