As far as rescue, I live only 3 hours away from San Louis Obispo, so I could always go down and get her on a weekend sometime if there is other transportation arranged for the drive further north. I may be able to go as far as Sacramento? I've never participated in a "railroad", but do let me know if you need the Bay area leg of the drive. I can more than likely help out for that one! Do keep us posted. She does look like a sweet girl!
