Sadie's tumor was operable! It was a large, dumbbell shaped mass attached to the spleen, so both the tumor and the spleen came out. It will be a few days before we know if it was the type that spreads, but the vet didn't think like it looked like the kind that usually does. We will be picking her up in about an hour to transfer her back to the ER for overnight care, and she should be able to come home tomorrow.
