I would not take offense at that small reference so quickly, "tortieshell terrace, as that helps distinguish the kitten that was given away from the "she" of the Cat of the Day, Miss Emma. Otherwise it could have been confusing - wait, you gave "her" away but you kept "her?"

We know, here at Cat of the Day, that ALL cats are special. She was using "perfect" just in describing the markings, and does not seem to imply anything about the whole of the other cat, just the markings, which THAT kitten's owner may think "perfect" as well - would just plain symetrical be boring?
