Terrific Tommy

He has started effectively defending his territory, that is roughly the whole house. He is extremely adventurous (climbing tours on library shelves and room-high cupboards included) and a real wizard when it comes to appearing where you expect him the least! Oh yes - I almost forgot to mention his ability to temporarily vanish in another (possibly parallel) universe or dimension when he does not want to be found! The other day I had to cancel an appointment with the vet after a long and fruitless search for him (needless to say he appeared - or should I say apparated - immediately afterwards). So that is Tommy - a playful, well-poised and self-assured cat with otherwordly (or some such) abilities that we look forward to fathoming in the years to come.

Ohhhh, Tommy! Good morning! Guten Morgen, sweet boy! What a handsome, smart, and capable tabby fellow! I smiled as I looked at your photos and read about your many talents -- getting acquainted with your doggie-siblings, acclimating to your home, and performing your (dis)appearing act! Do you like snuggles? Could you please have your people give you many hugs, kisses, petting and snuggles for me when you take a break from your adventures. I agree with Barbara -- you are deserving and absolutely cute! Happy, happy Cat of the Day to you, sweet Tommy!

Edited at the very end of the day to add: Tommy, all day I have enjoyed the picture of you looking inquisitively out from the basket -- what is it with kitties and baskets! And the colors of the blanket in the first photo go with your lovely coat very well! I hope you have had a purr-fect day!
