I fully agree with you- sometimes I look at them as if it was the first time and marvel at how beautiful they are.
And does their fur change? Not so much in Kiri who is a tabby, well a light tabby but a tabby.
But with Orion who is a blue Abyssinian it changes: he can look caramel, or steel gray, and his belly can look apricot or even light salmon pink
