Karen has guessed correctly!

Here's the puzzle:

Dutch Oven Apples

Wash and core six or eight large apples. Fill holes
with sugar, raisins and butter pat, plus cinnamon if
desired. Put apples on a greased pie tin with a small
amount of water. Place tin in oven on legs made of
pebbles or bottle caps to prevent scorching. Cover and
bake for about thirty minutes.

Pinot thought it would be nice if the puzzle produced food - hence the purpose!

Karen has deferred to Mrspunkysmom, who had the highest point total; I assume this was already discussed.

The book this came from is "The Old Fashioned Dutch Oven Cookbook" - it's really got some fun quotes and old time recipes in it. I bought it for my husband, who goes winter camping with a group of guys who all have big dutch ovens and use them on this trip. They eat very well.

Thanks y'all for playing! See you next puzzle!
