What a wonderful story! Both litters born on the same day, that is really cool. Thank God there are people like you. Congrats to Banjo and Bonnie, and much happiness to you all. It about makes me cry, becuz in 2008, I too found two mommas who were obviously sisters, that were raising their kittens in one large litter. There were nine babies and they were living in a semi truck cab with a front window that was broken, getting in and out thru the glass. The smaller momma had been cut up from it on her side and her tail. She was healing up and her tail eventually lost about 4 inches, but they were both very thin and starving, and they showed me where the kittens were right away. So, of course I took them home and hid them in my basement for a couple of days before I told my husband I had brought home 11 more cats. It was awesome the way they both loved all those babies. I kept the two mommas and three of the kits and another cat lover friend of mine took six of the kittens to her place in the country. So, that ended well, but so many times it doesn't. God Bless you and all the people like you who are willing to help the strays in the world.![]()
