Good morning Piper! Happy Dog of the Day to you, sweetheart!
What a pleasure it is to be the first to congratulate you on your WELL earned Dog of the Day, Dog of the Day EVERY day, Dog of a Lifetime honors! Nothing tugs at my heart harder than the sight of a seasoned citizen up on my Dog of the Day screen! What a gorgeous senior you are, Piper (though it's hard to believe you are 14 years young)! I just love that big, beautiful smile of yours, and having been blessed with such a wonderful life, such a loving and devoted forever family, you have every reason to be smile! I smiled from ear to ear, reading how you nap in your hammock, how you love the water and beach; enjoying the sun and the sights from the comfort of your towel! And wow, aren't you the smartie pup! But most of all I love your big heart, and the love you have for your family and they for you! You are living, loving proof of the priceless rewards of rescue, Piper, and just as your proud Mommy (or Daddy) has said, a family couldn't wish for a more wonderful forever furkid, loving companion and best friend for life, than YOU! I wish I were there in person to plant a big kiss atop that sweet head of yours; I hope your person will do that for me!
