My thoughts are with you at the loss of Ozzy - I lost my Beyli a few years ago, as well as other beloved cats, and as others on this site know, they are in our hearts forever.

Since Ozzy passed due to FeLV I am surprised that you let Binx outside. This disease, as well as FIV, are very contagious and often passed around amongst cats outside, especially by those who have been abandoned by their family (horrible!) and are fighting for territory, food or just scared. There are vaccines if Binx really must go out - but many are on the fence about the side effects, etc. I know you wouldn't want to lose Binx too - cats do have a much shorter life when they go outside unsupervised (between cars, nasty neighbors, predators, etc.). And as long as they have a window, toys, your attention and love, they really can be happy (and safe) inside. Cuts down on the vet bills too!
