Being born feral has nothing to do with it-- my theory is, MOST cats have what I call a 'sweet kitty' gene, and if they have it, it doesn't matter what kind of horrible upbringing they had-- when given a loving, interactive home with a caring human, they'll be sweet cats!! Several of the sweetest, most loving and affectionate cats in the current Pride are feral born-and-raised, only trapped when they were 3+ months old-- they were accustomed to being FED, but NOT approached or touched by humans AT ALL- and they're WONDERFUL pets-- just like Lucy and Max!
Congrats on COTD- and certainly to have lived a full week without Mom at that tender age, they HAD some Divine Help! Hope you all have a LONG, wonderful life together-- wish SO MANY MORE wonderful cats got the chance these two lovers did! THANK YOU to Lucy's and Max's human parents- kindness and love to our fellow creatures DOES pay immense dividends!!!
