I'm sure that mama and babies will find their way into loving furrrever homes.

I truly believe that what goes around, comes around. Those a-holes that dumped that mama and babies have to answer to a higher power.
When I was in rescue, I was as tough as nails or so I thought. Maybe it's all having a residual effect now because I become so emotional when I hear stories such as this. If I'm emotional, I'm not helpful, so now I try to help financially, if at all possible. Sometimes it isn't feasible, so I light candles and pray. I simply cannot fathom doing something so cruel but we read about it all too often, which is why I come to PT every day to read stories and examples of people helping animals and each other. The man who painted my dining room recently told me that his mom heard crying behind her apartment and when she checked it out, a sack of 4 kittens had been thrown in the dumpster. They took them to their vet but none of them lived. I was so upset that I didn't sleep that night. I'm ashamed to be a human sometimes. Animals treat their young better.
