Oh my!!! I'd be upset too. At least you have one consolation - the hair WILL grow back!

Knowing what I have to pay for grooming for my small dogs, I think that low price would have warned me, altho I probably would have given it a try also. Nothing ventured - nothing gained - but lesson learned!
