Sigh. It truly is disheartening at times to see so many cats and kittens that are suffering and that don't stand a chance of finding a home. Absolve yourself of guilt, though, sweetie, because you can't save them all. Cat rescue can be so rewarding but it can also be heartbreaking and this is one of those days that I'm sure you'll not soon forget. You gave this little one comfort, love and the human touch. "I was thirsty and you gave me drink". (Matt. 25:35) That's pure love. Sleep well tonight knowing that the last moment of this sweet one's life was one of peace, knowing that she was loved and touched. Peace to you. RIP, little one.
