EDIT2: Ahha I see, it was approved on Oct 9, 2007 but it wasn't open for registration and competition until July 1, 2008 Makes sense to me now!!

Recognized yes. But at this time, and since Oct. 9, they have been shown in the Misc. class, and not eligible for championship points. As of July 1, they will be shown as a working group breed, and eligible for championship points.

IIRC, the breed first gets accepted into the foundation stock program, then is eligible to be shown in the Misc. class, then is eligible for ch. points in its respective group.
