Cole slaw: add a bit of pineapple juice, or even pineapple (I prefer crushed inc coleslaw) from a can. Yum!
Salad: we don't eat enough for it to be worth while for me to buy the things. They go bad before we can finish them up. But we NEVER use iceberg lettuce, yuck! NO nutritional value, NO flavor, just a human hybrid to 'look' good. We use Boston lettuce, red leaf or green leaf.
