My mom's friend had a little yorkie for about 12 years and it got along great with her cats and chickens, and I think she had a few ducks and rabbits off and on. Her yorkie was so awesome with the other animals. Her name was Abby and she was so precious 
Sadly one day my mom's friend was backing the car out of the drive and accidentally ran over her. It was so terrible because they had had her for SO long.
I'm not saying any yorkie will get along well w/cats or anything, I'm just saying sometimes there are exceptions.
