I will be keeping up with the eagle's progress and will be happy to pass along any updates I get. I'm not sure if they will be able to help him or not as he seemed pretty injured, but we all are hoping for the best for this lil guy.

Let me ask Joel if he needs more blankets, I'm not really sure. We get all of our equipment from him so he would be the one to ask. I don't know why, but both of the eagles I have caught so far have always held something in there claws (grass, blankets etc). This poor guy when we first found him had a death grip on his own injured wing. It must make them feel better to hold onto something. When we take the blankets away from them they instantly try to find something else to grab.

I will keep everyone updated on Nine Miles (LOVE the name Phred!!).
