I texted every day I was gone except for about 2 days when we were in nowhere land where we had no towers. I voted the day I caught the boat before I left the motel and texted so that would be done for the day since I knew it would be a busy day. Some days I would have to try all day to get out but eventually would, a few days I couldn't get out at all.
