Oh boy, this is tough on you, huh? As for the shower curtain, if it works, why not but my cats hate plastic and would pee on it just out of principle. Keep watching Mishi and if you see that he's getting worse and especially if he appears to be suffering, well, then you'll know what to do. Until then, enjoy every moment and be as patient as you possibly can so that you don't have one bad moment where you lost it because that will be the moment that stays w/you.
