Dork schmork. I'm going to coerce the MIT Chantey Sing to learn the doggone thing too.

I think that very first scene was among the best movie scenes I've ever watched. Mostly for the song, but I also liked the swipe at England for abridging habeas corpus and trial by jury.

In all that over-the-top fighting and special-effects chaos, I found a really cool theme - that pirates who can't cooperate to save their already long-gone lives are nowhere near as scary as bloodless bullies who can.
