So, I planned on getting chicks again this year, but not for a while. We know what happend last year. I've made an area AWAY from the dogs so this won't happen again. We live in a different house than we did last year and I have lots more room for them too.
Anywho, I went to the next town this morning for a doctor's appointment. I stopped by my grandparent's new Carhart Supply store for a visit on my way out of town. While I was there my Grandma said I should go look what the new store next door has. I walked over to the new feed store next door. They had baby chicks!They were only a day or so old. All looked pretty healthy and happy. I decided I was gonna buy a few, but the store wasn't open yet. They don't open till 4pm. So I'm getting their area ready and waiting for my little brother to get home. He's the other animal nut in the family and he's going to help me pick some out.
I'm not sure what kinds of chickens they were. They had Rhode Island Reds and a couple other kinds.
