He is the type of doctor who would have said " If it will ease your mind to have it done, then lets do it" or "Price wise it isnt bad". It is worth a shot... I dont think he would have told others the TRUTH about the test. That it isnt as great as they might think.

He wants owners to be calm and not make rash decisions. Most people would shudder and run away from a possible FIP cat, so he would want them to feel better in their decision to keep the cat. Whatever it takes to get them to keep an animal.

BUT I will say that he would not come out and say that the test is inaccurate, and has such a low accuracy rate. He would leave it up to the owner. AND most owners would do the test, just to get a false sense of security, ya know?
