wow, thanks everyone. I've always wanted one....right now we only have 3 small dogs...so I'd love to have anther dog one day... I have some ducks, so do you think they would do good with them?

The only Basset hound I've ever been around was my mom's friend had one for about 10 years. She was a very sweet dog and she was so loving....but she got hit by a big diesel truck one day. It was so horribly; especially for my mom's friend because that was the only pet/dog she had and she had just had puppies not long before too.

But, I would LOVE to have one. They are so cute and they seem so loving and big and clumsy !
