tough one.......but I would see if possible to place the dog where the kids had no access........so he won´t be disturbed but still in our family.......it´s a tough choice to decide between skin kids and furry kids........but you gotta do what´s best for both........if you can prevent the dog bitting by keeping children out of reach, I think that would solve most of the problems.......
