(I called my Pumpkinseed that and I really don't think he appreciated it) With close up of their sides I could take my best guess at gender, but it's only a guess. Best to wait until they show tubercles on their gills or have eggs. Funny thing is, calico goldfish are just the opposite of cats, it seems there are more male calicos than female.
