I know what you mean about people and goldfish. My own parents bought two feeders and they weren't that little and put them in a gallon bowl and no air! When I bet my dad $1,000. they would be dead within 3 months I guess he did some research and put them in a 10 gallon tank they had and I gave them a pump. It's not perfect but at least an improvement.
