My folks had a snappy little red Corvair with white interior. Boy was that It was a breeze to park which my mom loved as she never quite mastered parallel parking. Hubby liked theirs so much that he bought a snappy little black Corvair with a white interior for our first car after we got married. It was fine except for the smoke that would occasionally come up from under the dashboard and hit us in the face as we rode down the highway. We never did find out the cause of that.

I also learned to type on a manual typewriter. I was so excited when my employer, back in the 60's, brought in all new IBM Selectrics with the changeable little balls. Thought I'd died and gone to heaven.
