I think Sheltie and Pap might work but the ears would be loftier, and Mocha doesn not have enough white (for the genetics of that combo)... looking for pic:

Both are coated, but I think the muzzle would be longer and finer (more whippety) in that mixture. A sheltie mixed with a breed having little in the way of white markings, possibly tho.

Mocha's muzzle is rather short, so I don't think Sheltie and Aussie mix would do it. There would also be more white given the averages in those breeds, and the genetics of white markings.

It's fun to guess! We could be miles off. A family member brought a dog from Mexico that was a street mutt, mix of many kinds of breeds. It looked a lot like Mocha, a little smaller, but Transylvanian Long Coated Dog to me too.
