I cannot have a dog right now, but if I could, I just don't think I could decide if it should be a certain kind, size etc.! I love most doggies and would probably take the one that seemed to work for me, as in timing.....t would be such a difficult choice! So I selected Other as my response! I would probably go for a larger dog, although I love little ones, and I would probably go for a working dog, rather than the sit on the sofa type, and I would probably feel guilty all day long while I was at work...thinking how much the dog would be yearning to go outside etc. etc.

In my past, I have had the following doggies in my parent's home: mutts, Wiemeraner (sp), Scottish terriers, Standard Collies (and I loved them so), more mutts that I loved dearly as well, Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, more dear mutts. We went through lots of dogs. After all, I am 145 (just kidding). We did go through a lot of dogs and I am not sure why, thinking back on it. We lived in the middle of no where on the eastern shore of Maryland, in farm country, and my guess is that either my parents gave the dogs away or they wandered off. Ugh. Only the Scotties do I remember and how they died and when etc. The others are sorta a blurr.

Sorry to go on and on about this!
