adopting another Sphynx this weekend. Unfortunately, I called the wrong phone number yesterday. When I called this morning, the woman said she found a home for Zappa. She said that she didn't get the "warm and fuzzy" feeling with the people who adopted him, saying they asked how he did with scratching, as they had a house full of antiques. THAT would've sent up a red flag. I just hope they don't decide to declaw Zappa.

Anyway, the woman said she had another Sphynx, a female, that she MIGHT need a home for, because she has a new baby and isn't sure if he's allergic yet (the kid is only 8 months old and hasn't been around the cat yet). I gave her my number and told her to call me.

I can't get Zappa out of my mind. I worry that the new humans will declaw him to protect their precious antiques. Oh well, ain't nothing I can do about it now.

Please say a prayer for Zappa. My gut feeling says he's gonna need it.
