I work with a rescue group. They take responsibility for the animals. Vet bills are covered by the group. They "advertise" the cats on Petfinder and have adoption events and fund raisers and all that good stuff. We, the volunteers and foster moms, can help in the adoption process.....talking to the people, home visits.....etc, but we need to use the groups "criteria". Like, they can not have the cat declawed, it must be an indoor only pet....etc. We can't allow them to make an exception to our rules just because it is fostered in our home.Originally Posted by Lizzie
