All my babies are rescues, too.

I truly must have faith in a higher power, who will take care of these people who abuse animals, or "throw them outside" when they're "done" with them.

A sweet little girl declaw, who had probably never been outside. It makes me heartsick and angry that these people will 1) probably get other pets and 2) have children and perpetuate this care-less irresponsibility. Then speak reminiscently about "their other cat they had to give up." Give up my round bummy!

I think of my quad-declaw, Hank, being put outside to survive on his own because his owner married a man who didn't like cats. Who is the lesser evil? The man who was honest about hating cats and wanting that cat OUT before he came home, or the woman who married him at the cost of her little trusting, adoring kitty soul?

I'm so glad you were there for Kirki! She's blessed, as are you and all your babies. Thank you for being there for her.
