Pepper - so sorry to hear about this job problem. I've been at my job for 28 years and have been in danger at times of having the same thing happen to me. Every now and then they evaluate us to see who's being productive and who's what they call excess baggage and I've been worried about being considered in the latter class. A year ago our company got bought out by another and a lot of us old timers got laid off. I managed to escape that one. Still they are continuing to make changes within and I never know from one day to the next where I stand. I've learned that what is going to happen will happen and I'm just rolling with the punches. I know I'd be incredibily depressed if I got the ax, but everything happens for a reason and I bet there would be something else out there for me. I'm 52 years old Pepper so the job market wouldn't welcome me with open arms, but I'm sure I could find something as I'm sure you will. Keep us posted Pepper and good luck.
