I am so sorry to hear this, I hope she heals up quickly!
Growing up we had a GSD mix and my grandmother that lived next door had a lab, and every summer they would get into a fight like that. It's like that's all they needed was to get all their anger out once a year then they were fine.
I hope everything goes well for all of you, and no more fights happen.
My friend has to male Malamutes that are siblings and they fight all the time but they cry and go nuts when they are not together. (Talk about a love/hate relationship!! )
