    Fawn is empathetic

Ever since 2 weeks ago, when I seriously considered moving out of state, Fawn (my little Abyssinian-mix) has been crying at times, all hours of the day and night, wandering about the house , as though I am gone! When in reality I'm not going anywhere for several months in the future, and that I am usually within 10 ft. from him. To get him to quiet down, it is necessary to call him. He looks at me with the most sorrowful look, and then begins his approach to me, jumping and purring. Could it be that he picked up my intentions and is fearful that I might leave him (he is possibly thinking, permanently)? Of course, if I do move later this year or early next, all of my furkids are going with me.
